The Greater Vancouver Zoo is on 120 acres of beautiful, sprawling land. It is the ideal environment to get outdoors, away from the screens, and foster a relationship with nature through learning and adventure. In addition, get up close and personal with some animals here at the Zoo!

March 17 – 21: Youth Zoo Camp ages 10 - 14 years  

New this year. Be a part of the Zoo Crew and learn what it takes to work at a Zoo! This advanced camp is geared towards 10–14-year-olds! Our Youth Camp provides hands on experience with our Zoo staff including behind the scenes animal training exercises, preparing animal diets, building enrichment items for the animals, and exploring our onsite conservation programs. Of course it is not all work, there will be lots of time to build friendships, play, ride the train, and explore the Zoo.

March 24 – 28: Jr Zoo Camp Kindergarten – 9 years   

Step into the wild this Spring and explore, learn, and discover the wonderful world of animals and dinosaurs. Jr. Zoo camp is geared towards campers in kindergarten to 10-year-olds. Children will interact with real live animals, explore the habitats at the Zoo, and learn from our animal experts! All while fostering a strong connection with our natural world. Kids will have lots of space and free time to play, explore and lead their adventures. Camp activities include behind-the-scenes tours, animal encounters, train rides, crafts, games, face painting, outdoor play, and educational lessons.
